When Love Walked In episodes 1 and 2

A very serious Yu Jiang bickering talking with Ya Yin.

Wooohooo!!!! I just finished watching 2 episodes of WLWI!!! I just can't believe that I'll get to finish watching both episodes today.

I expected that today would be really busy, that I wouldn't have enough time to search for reuploads since Tencent doesn't really like to share the drama with us non-China people. I'm soo happy that a very thoughtful tumblr user shared all the available links and they're non youtube!!!! coz YT's blocked here in the gloomy office. Well, just so glad that the episodes are not that long and I get to finish them just before the peak hours start.

Anyway, the childhood introduction is too short for me. I was expecting something touchy like the ones in Love at the Dolphin Bay or in Silence. There wasn't enough time to show how their friendship was formed which would somehow give a better reason for the kids to cry like that when they were separated. Ah basta kulang!!!!! Maybe there would be flashbacks in the middle of the story like AIWC. Also, there are too many coincidences in the drama. Just the fact that Ya Yin is actually chatting with Yu Jiang is way too coincidental. Their meeting and bickering at the exhibit as well as at the restaurant is somewhat common for dramas, so it's forgiven, but being the lost granddaughter and Yu Ru's cousin at the same time still makes their world small. So small that it feels too coincidental. Okay fine, it's the scriptwriter's fault...

Another thing that I don't like is the dubber's voice!!!! My gosh!!!!! I really don't understand why they have to sub a drama that is already in Mandarin!! I know, Taiwanese Mandarin and Mainland Mandarin sounds different but still, it's the same Mandarin they're using! It's like this drama was made in Manila and they used the Tagalog in Manila and yet, when it was aired in Batangas (or Bulacan, Laguna, Quezon and any other Tagalog-speaking provinces), they still dubbed it!

Hmm what else, having 2 episodes last night makes me remember what Hunan did with SA. Imagine, 2 episodes per night, including weekends!! That's a total of 14 episodes in a week!! Wow!!! I wish that won't happen in WLWI. I'm already happy with 2 episodes in a week, that's enough for me and would give me a little more time to watch other dramas.

Too bad I wasn't able to take screenshots. I am actually feeling lazy to do so. Haha! I just took one screenshot of the serious Yu Jiang. I'm really used with Calvin's sunshine personality, it's really weird for me to see him like this, from the very sunshine and active Da Ye to the gloomy and serious Yu Jiang... It needs a lot of time for me to get used to it....
