Palawan Adventure

More than a month ago, my family had our last trip this year, in Puerto Princesa city, Palawan.

It was already planned a year ago, Jj was supposed to come with us, but a few weeks before the planned trip, I decided to cancel his flight. What's the sense of him travelling with me if he's no longer mine? Paasa! I also considered that trip as one of the ways for me to at least forget him.

Moving on, our trip in Palawan is more about nature. We had fresh seafood for dinner on our boat after firefly watching. Speaking of fireflies, it was like my first time seeing those fireflies. The mangrove trees seemed like a christmas tree with all those fireflies. The next day, we went caving-slash-mountain climbing on one of the limestone caves before heading to the underground river. That was the most adventurous thing I did so far in my ilfe. Since young, I've always wished to either wall climb or rock climb, and that caving experience made it come true, at least! Now I know how hard it is to climb! Haha! The underground river trip bored me a bit... Coz I can't get near and touch the rock formations! I enjoyed walking along the beach while waiting for our turn. How I wish it is possible to swim there. The waves are quite high when we went to the undrground river. On our way back to mainland Palawan, our boat had some engine difficulties that we got stuck in the middle of the sea for around 30 minutes. Glad someone came to rescue us. It was a really dizzy ride. I swear I would never have a boat ride again, unless it's really that necessary!

Three days is really not enough to enjoy Palawan. I wish we also went island hopping in El Nido, visited the beaches in Coron, and a lot more. I promise I'll visit Palawan again.
