Starbucks x Moleskine

Yay! I got my 2016 planner!

2012 - 2016
This year's Starbucks planner is the 5th in my collection. Getting the planner before December has become my yearly tradition. I can't believe time flies this fast! It's been five years. These planners aren't plain planners. Each one contains memories, could be bittersweet, happy or sad. Each planner has a story to tell.

For 2016, I chose to have white. I don't know but I am into white and greys recently. The cover design resembles the one from 2012 wherein half of the SB Siren logo is on the lower left while SB's name is written on the top right. The difference is the material used for the cover. It is made from the same material used in 2013/2014. I don't like the small version. I don't think its spaces is enough for me to write on.

Is 10 cups enough?
This is what you'll see as you open the planner. Basic details needs to fill those blanks if ever you lose your planner. There is also a disclaimer, some sort of a prize you'd give to anyone who'd return your precious planner. A more detailed bio page follows the basic info page in case you're not contented with this.

The planner theme is to inspire, which is why each month begins with a quote from someone from Starbucks. The 2016 planner is not that personal nor interactive compared to the last three years.

Of course, the coupons! This is another reason why I like to get a planner - so I'd have 'reasons' to go to Starbucks! Lame huh?

Overall, I find the planner pretty boring. Like what I mentioned earlier, this one's less personal, less interactive. It just wants you to focus more on writing. Maybe writing down how you inspired, or how you were inspired someone in a day. If you are the creative type, perhaps you can use the page opposite the weekly page to doodle or put stickers, or whatever!

What about you? Have you got yours?
