It has always been my dream to see my favorite boyband from Taiwan – Fahrenheit. And now that my time has come, I don’t want to miss the chance of seeing them personally.


I, together with my Singaporean jiejies Hui Lian, Celeste and Gina, as well as my fellow Filipina puddings Hannah, Sharmila, Rhie, and ate Daph, waited Fahrenheit at the airport. Hui Lian jiejie, (aka hotlips) the, uhm, should I say, most die hard fan of Aaron, brought the wine, and the Army of Puddings t shirt. While I, on the other hand, was assigned to do the Puddings @AF card. (By the way, thanks Benj for helping me design the card. You’re really a good friend.)

The boys arrived at 9:00 am but we saw Fahrenheit at around 9:25. Of course, there was a tight security. The four gorgeous boys stayed at the airport lobby for a while. Chun took a self-pic of him with fans as his background – and it includes me!!!!! He did the same thing in Korea. Seems like he love to have fans as his background. All the boys are wearing sunglasses and jeans. Aaron was wearing a black leather jacket with Buttercup, who is a representative of Fahrenheit Family Philippines, put sampaguita garlands on Jiro, Aaron, Calvin, and Chun. Hotlips jiejie and I hand Aaron our gifts. He greeted us “Mabuhay” I hand him the Puddings @AF card. He thanked me with “salamat”. Then I greeted
Chun who was beside Aaron and gave him the Ferrari key ring I bought from Shell. (Well, I know that Chun likes Ferrari, but since I can’t afford to give him one, I bought him that instead.) He smiled to me and said “Salamat”. I replied back “Mei Guan Xi (You’re Welcome)” with a smile. Then, Fahrenheit left.

As part of the Philippine Chase Team (a Chase Team is a group of fans who follow Fahrenheit wherever they go. It’s actually can be called as ‘stalkers’ but to have a better name, we called it as ‘Chase Team’. We adopted it from Singapore and Taiwan.), we followed Fahrenheit up to the hotel. Several members of the Fahrenheit Family Philippines waited at the hotel lobby instead. Since we have ate Daph in our team, she has Fahrenheit’s schedule, hotel rooms, etc. etc. so we have managed our Singaporean jiejies to reserve rooms next to Fahrenheit’s.

So instead of waiting them at the lobby, we waited Fahrenheit near their rooms. At around 10:30 am, we saw them up close. Jiro was surprised to see us. Aaron seemed to recognize me since he smiled at me. Calvin and Chun greeted us “Mabuhay”. Then they went off.

There was a fan meet session scheduled at 1:00 pm. It’s only around 11 am so we had our lunch at the hotel. Fahrenheit had their lunch in their rooms. After eating, we headed to the fan meet session to have good seats. While we were waiting, I had the chance to meet some Filipino Fahrenheit fans as well as foreign ones. Members of Fahrenheit Family Philippines as well as other fan groups are required to register to join the autograph session as well as games. My registration number is 138. (Coincidentally, that was my pudding number!!!! Hahaha!!!!)

It’s already 1:00 pm. To start off, Music Videos like Wo You Wo De Young, Xia Xue, Chu Shen Ru Hua, Liu Xia Lai, Heng Xing, Zui Jia Ting Zhong, and Zhi Shao Hai You Wo were played on the two big screens beside the stage. Then, at around 1:45, the host came out. Fahrenheit arrived!!!! They have already changed their outfits. They wore their Gai Ban outfits. They sang Yue Lai Yue Ai to start the event. This was the first time I heard them sing live!!!!! My gosh, Aaron’s voice was far different from his recorded voice! Rang wo yue lai yue ai ta!!!! (It makes me love him more and more!!!) There was also a question and answer with the fans. Chosen people were allowed to throw them questions. Hannah and Sharmila were able to ask Aaron some questions.

Then a game was introduced by the host. It was a newspaper dance similar to what they had in Malaysia. The boys had to pick first their ‘wives’ for the day. And guess what? Aaron picked 138! “Ako yun! Ako yun!” I was screaming out loud. I can’t believe that I would become Aaron’s wife for the day. As I go up the stage and walk towards him, he said “It’s you.” “Yes it’s me!” I said.

I don’t know what to say!!! Aaron asked for my name, repeated it twice to clarify, then chatted a little. God, he’s so cute, handsome, and the way he speaks English, totally far different from Chun and Calvin. Now I understand why fans love to hear him speak in English. Then the game started. Aaron held my hand. (My gosh!! I can’t believe he’s actually holding my hand!!) As the newspaper becomes small, Aaron told me, “Step on my feet.”“Do I really have to? I might get your shoe dirty.”, I said.
“It’s ok, it doesn’t matter.”, he replied.

I tried my best not to step on him, but he really insists to. As I stepped on him, I unconsciously hugged him, and he hugged me too!! My God! He smells so nice!! I can’t believe I’m hugging him.

“Sana tagalan mag-judge ng host para matagal kong mayakap si Aaron.” I said to myself.

I asked him, “I stepped on you, is it ok? I mean, does it hurt?”
“No, it’s ok.”, he said.

Jiro and his partner were out on that round. The next round, Aaron saw Chun carry his partner. Chun’s partner was just a small girl like ate Kaye.

Aaron asked me, “Would you mind if I carry you too?”
“Do you really have to?”
“Of course, we have to win.”
“Well, it’s ok if you’ll carry me, but I’m afraid you can’t coz I’m kinda heavy.”
“Just ride on my back then.”

That round, Calvin and his partner were out. So the game was now between Chun and Aaron. This round, Aaron piggybacked me. Only one of his foot is on the newspaper.
Then I asked Aaron, “Am I heavy?”
“Yes, kind of..”, he replied.

Aaron seemed to have a hard time carrying me. Then, according to the judge, we lost in the game. Chun and his partner won.
“It’s ok”, I told him, “It was just a game.”
“Yeah, it was just a game. You’re so heavy!”
“Oops, sorry. I already warned you.”
“Anyway, I had a nice time Katreena.” Then he kissed me on the cheek. “See you later”, he said.

Now back with the audience, I really can’t help but smile foolishly. Hannah had recorded the whole game. While hotlips jiejie had taken pictures. Sharmila asked me about the experience. All I can say is that “His hands were warm, and he held my hand tight. My heart was beating so fast that I couldn’t help but smile. And when he speaks, I think I’m going to faint!! And oh, he’s so cute up close!!!”
Gina jiejie commented,”You’re really on a cloud nine.”
Also Celeste jiejie, “I’m sure, lots of puddings would envy you.”
My reaction: ^___________^ *wide grin* Their words seem to not enter my head.

Then, autograph session. “At last, I could personally give them my gifts and letters.” I thought to myself.
Ok, first stop: Calvin.
“Mabuhay!” He greeted.
“Hello!” I replied back. I hand him the Gaiban, Yue Lai Yue Ai CD and the concert ticket for him to sign.
He asked me, “Where did you bought the CD?”
“I preordered from HIM” I said. “These CDs are not available in Philippines”

Then Calvin handed me back the poster and the CD.
He smiled and said “See you at the concert!”

Jiro’s turn!!! Oh my gosh!! The way Jiro smiles – so adorable!!! Can’t help but to smile back too!!
I greeted him first, “Dong ge, ni hao!!” (Hello Jiro!)
Then he replied, “Ni hao! Ni ke yi shuo zhong yu ma?” (Hello! Can you speak Chinese?)
“I just know a little mandarin.” Then I hand him the CDs and the concert ticket for him to sign.
“Ni de leg zen me yang?” (How is your leg?) I asked.
“Yi jing hai hao. Xie xie!” (It’s already fine. Thanks!)
After he sign the CDs, I hand him my gift.
“Dong ge, zhe shi wo de ling wu… Xi wang ni xi huan oh!!” (Jiro, this is my gift. Hope you like it!!)
“Hao ke ai oh!!! Xie xie!!” (So cute!! Thanks!!!)

Oh my gosh!! Aaron again!!!!
“Hello Katreena!!” He remembered my name!!! Then I hand him the CDs and ticket for him to sign.
“Mei xiang dao ni ke yi shuo zhong yu.” (Never thought you could speak Chinese.) he said.
“oh, wo zhi dao jiu shao de.. (I know a little) I’ve been self studying Mandarin for few years”
“Jia you!!!” he replied.
As he hands me back the signed CDs and ticket, I gave him my gift. It was a Tigger stuff toy.
“Xie xie.” He said.
“Oh, here’s a personal card for you. It’s different from the card I gave you this morning.”
“Thanks! I’ll read it!” he said.

Last stop, Chun ge!!!!
“Kamusta!” he greeted. Then I hand him the CDs and ticket for him to sign.
“You gave me this key ring this morning, right? It’s so cute. I like it!”
I replied, “Good thing you liked it. I thought you already have that before.”
“No, this is the first time I saw such thing. Thanks!!”
Then, I gave him the card I made for him.
“Thanks!!” he said. “Ingat!!”

Downstage, I saw Aaron reading the card I’ve given him. I’ve put my mobile number on the card. Then I saw him holding his phone. Oh my gosh, is he going to call me? Then I heard my phone rang, not with a ring tone but with an alarm. “Weird.” I thought. The sound went loud and loud.. Then I looked on my phone.
I saw no number. “This is really strange.”, I thought to myself.

Then suddenly, I heard my mom, “Katreena! Akala ko ba aalis ka ng maaga? Alas-otso na!!!”
”Huh??? Eight na???? Naku po, late na’ko!!! Kelangan ko pumunta sa airport!!!”
