This song best tells a woman's dilemma: your sixth sense tells you something is going on but you are torn in between believing it or believing the man in front of you. The feeling is so annoying that you'd rather want to know it straight than play guessing game.


The MV was released around the time before the online mini series Get Out of Popu Lady ended. The mini series is about a competition between Popu Lady members, with their career at stake. The member with the least number of overall votes would be kicked out of the group, while the member with the most votes will get to release a solo EP. Since this MV was released sometime before the results were announced, the title and the video itself gave an impression that the members doesn't want to "say goodbye", and the old group vids shown in the MV makes it more touching. But after analyzing the lyrics, I realized, this is the first time Popu Lady sang a "real" song. Far from their dance, bubblegum, cutesy tracks. Far from their ballads with simple lyrics. (Yeah I'm talking about 你說她. I love that song and all, but I still feel that the lyrics are too simple) 我不要 has lyrics comparable to 寂寞寂寞就好, the words alone is enough to convey emotions. When the words were mixed with the girls' lovely voices and melody, it becomes a song which can pierce through your heart, a song which can convey someone else's emotion.

I really love how Popu Lady changed in their EP Gossip Girls. The EP's concept is diferent from their previous cutesy EPs. The songs are mostly dance tracks, but far from bubblegum and cutesy style. I really don't follow Popu Lady that much but I do listen to their songs. They have a lot of potential. I just think that they need to develop more 默契 on stage. Since they're living in dorms, I think they could easily work it out. And they should! The dorm worked for S.H.E, and for the amount of time Popu Lady has been living together (assuming that they started dorm during the first EP production), they should have 默契 by now.

Since I have started talking about Popu Lady, let's talk about the members. I have three favorites: 宇珊, 寶兒, and 庭萱. For me, 宇珊 has the best vocals among the group, which is why I like her. I like how cute 寶兒 is, and I love 庭萱's hair. (Ha! Shallow reasons!) I feel that 大元 is given more exposure, while 洪時 gets the least attention.

I really hope that HIM will soon see the potential Popu Lady has and let them release a full-length album, and give them more exposure, music wise.
